Gardening Leave

I had to take advantage of the pleasant weather today to attempt to do something with the garden. A little trimming her and some hacking and hewing there.

Then we went to a Pasquetta lunch and now to drinks so the blog had to be forgotten I’m afraid.

Pasquetta is in full swing with thousands of townies out at either their or friend’s houses eating a picnic as they call it . Once it was always held outside but now more often it is inside especially when Easter is early or like this year chilly.

When the meal is over they take to the road and walk the meal off. Townies that remember the country ways collect an assortment of greenery to take back with them to cook this week while the others just get some fresh air and probably wonder what their ancestors were doing living in the middle of nowhere.

I will blog more tomorrow.
